Sabrina Evans from Fort Worth, Texas is a Senior English communication arts major at St. Mary’s University with a minor in visual communications design. A member of the Marianist Leadership Program and University Ministry, Evans also serves on the executive board as President of her sorority, Delta Zeta.

Evans recently interned with SA Live in San Antonio, Texas. SA Live is the lifestyle show for the KSAT 12 channel. She wrote many articles about recipes, events, and small businesses featured on the show. Evans also had experience with videography and editing. To see her work with SA Live, visit the SA Live tab.

For the past two summers, Evans worked at Heart O’ the Hills camp in Hunt, Texas. Heart O’ The Hills specializes in helping girls ages 6-16 learn valuable life skills including leadership, social interaction, and physical exercise. Evans would teach classes such as dance, journalism, and yoga while also being responsible for a cabin of nine year old girls. 

Currently, Evans works for the Rattler Newspaper at St. Mary’s University as the Lifestyle Editor. Her main focus within her articles are mental health and wellness, financial tips, fashion, and other aspects beneficial to one’s lifestyle. Evans volunteers at many different organizations in San Antonio including the Children’s Shelter, The Good Samaritan Society, Girl Scouts San Antonio, Girls Inc. San Antonio, and Vamos Ya! Peace Pals.

 After graduating, Evans plans to join an alternative service program and then receive her Masters in Advertising or a  Master of Arts in Communication.
